There are care and use guidelines in the Student and Family handbook. Read and follow these.

The especially careful with your device on the bus. Keep it in your bag, or if you take it out, hold onto it very carefully. Some of our bus routes can get bumpy!
If your device does get damaged, please bring it to the Library right away. We will take care of the warranty claim and pack and ship it for you. The glass will probably stay together in the screen bezel, but it can still cut you. Wrap the device in a soft towel, and then place into your case, transport to school and bring it directly to the Library.
We may have loaners that you can borrow while your device is being repaired, but we can't guarantee that one will be available when you need it. If there are no loaners, you may have to use a computer in your classroom or come to the Library to use one of ours to get your work done. Having a broken device is not an excuse for late or incomplete work. Loaners are not available if we determine that the damage to your device was caused by willful neglect or was intentional.
