iPad App Overview
Your iPad comes pre-loaded with a variety of learning apps that the school has purchased for you. Your teachers will likely ask you to use some of these for various projects, but knowing more about the apps and what they can do gives you the ability to show what you know in different ways for any class or project.
Apps on all student iPads
Pages
Pages is a word processing program for the iPad. Format documents simply and easily with hundreds of built-in templates. Track word count, use spell check, leave comments and work on documents collaboratively. Even open and edit Word files or grab documents from Google Drive or DropBox. Green Screen by Do Ink
Easily create videos using green screen technology. We have several green screen setups here at Mill River. Now use your iPad to easily record and edit footage using the green screen. Footage recorded this way allows you to change the background of your video to any image you want.
